Today we'll work on counting 1-5 together. Sit close and use your finger to point to each problem. If your child gets stuck, count out loud together using fingers or small objects. Always praise the effort, not just the right answer. Five minutes of warm practice beats twenty minutes of pressure.

Count to ten together. Then ask your child to find 8 of one thing in the room.
